Arthur Goode, 91, dies here Friday

Arthur Goode, 91, operator of the Goode Hotel in Washington for many years, died Fridat, January 1, 1965, ath the Washington County Hospital. He had been falling in health for the past several months.
The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Peterson in charge. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Goode was born Jan. 31, 1873 in Andalusia, Ill., a son of John and Elizabeth Bethuram Goode. He was reared in Andalusia and came to Washington in 1912. In addition to operation the hotel here, he also was locksmith and in the roofing business.
He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors ae three sisters: Mrs. Blanche Ruedy of Burlingame, Calif., Mrs. Myrtle Anderson and Mrs. Ada Thompson of Fresno, Calif.; one brother, Bruce of Los Angeles, Calif.
