A FRIEND OF THE VILLAGE
In the death of Judge H. E. Burgess at Aledo, the village of Burgess lost a real friend. This place was named in honor of the Judge and he always has exhibited a real interest in this community. Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon from the Methodist Episcopal church at Aledo. Among those from here who attended the services were: W. J. Sharer, L. L. Frost, Laverne Morgan and F. E. Burgess.
