Peter Blanshan, 44, Seymour, Was Highway Department Employee

Peter Blanshan, 44, Seymour, died Tuesday noon at a Green Bay hospital following an operation. He had been confined to the hospital for four weeks. He was born Sept. 30, 1891, in Grand Junction, Iowa, and moved to Seymour with his parents when still a small child. He was a member of the Seymour lodge No. 306, Masons.
Mr. Blanshan served as an Outagamie county motorcycle officer for a year beginning in April, 1928, and was a truck driver and foreman for the county highway department for about four years beginning in 1930.
Survivors are the widow: three sons, Russel, Ralph and Harold, Seymour; three daughters, Dorothy, and Jean, Seymour, and Grace, Green Bay, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blanshan, Seymour.
Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock at the home and at 1:30 at the Methodist church with the Rev. Lorenz Knutzen in charge. Burial will be in the Seymour city cemetery.

Peter married Hattie Fern RUSSELL, daughter of George Edward RUSSELL and Mary Ann COY, in Seymour, Outagamie, Wisconsin.
